Announces 3Q'03 Results
Quarterly
sales up over 35%, net income growth of over NT$1 billion
Taipei,
Taiwan, 31st October 2003 - VIA Technologies, Inc, a
leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies
and PC platform solutions, today announced financial
results for third quarter 2003.
Net
sales for 3Q'03 were NT$5,468 million, and net income
was NT$46 million; this represents an increase in sales
revenue of NT$1,427 million (US$ 42.3 million approx),
or 35.3% over Q2'03 sales of NT$4,041 million, while
net income rose by NT$1,116 million (US$34.4 million
approx) over the previous quarter.
Based
on the current 1,253.822 million shares outstanding,
earnings per share were reported as NT$0.04.
