VIA Announces 2Q’04/1H’04 Results
Taipei, Taiwan, 31 August 2004 - VIA Technologies,
Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip
technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced
financial results for second quarter 2004.
Net sales for 2Q’04 were NT$4,485 million. Net loss
was NT$1,675 million; based on the current 1,324.154
million shares outstanding, earnings per share were
reported as negative NT$1.26.
For the first half of the year, net sales totaled NT$8,894
million. Net loss was NT$1,624 million; based on 1,324.154
million shares outstanding, earnings per share for the
first half of the year were reported at negative NT$1.23.
