VIA Announces August Sales Results

Taipei, Taiwan, 2^nd September 200 5 - VIA Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC platform solutions, today announced net sales for August 2005 of NT$1.57 billion (US$48.10 million approximately).

On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue represents a 20.93% increase over July's figure of NT$1.30 billion (US$39.77 million approximately).
