at the Lunch@Piero's press event held
during CES in Las Vegas on January
6 and 7.
Leveraging the advanced digital performance
of VIA’s latest silicon and platform
technologies, these stylish Personal
Electronics devices facilitate the
convenience of the modern lifestyle,
from digital entertainment delivery
and management to the ultimate media
gear for automobiles, home automation
to creative storage solutions, and
several imaginative wireless technology
applications, even for golf enthusiasts.
Leading edge partner systems being
demonstrated at this event include
the CES award-winning Niveus Media
A/V Storage Server, the Lafayette MediaReady4000
featuring the C.A.C. Media Convergence
Software Suite, Autocom’s CarPC Mediabox,
CastleTek’s highly mobile telematics
system, the petabyte storage device
from Capricorn Technologies, commercial
and personal custom PC solutions from
Polywell, the TeePod solar-powered
golf kiosk from 4eversports, the Linspire
sub-$500 notebook, the Videolocity
video-on-demand system, and the WorldVibrations
radio station-in-a-box. There’ll also
be a remarkable new VIA EPIA mainboard
case-mod by Jeffrey Stephenson.
VIA will demo its latest chipsets
for the AMD64 and Intel® platforms
and some ultra high quality audio solutions,
as well as the upcoming VIA EPIA SP
Mini-ITX and EPIA N-Series Nano-ITX
mainboards that feature the latest
hardware-based security and digital
media technologies, while S3 Graphics
will unveil the first in the new DeltaChrome
Ultra Low Power GPU series, as well
as a sneak peak at the GammaChrome
S18 PCI Express solution and the latest
OmniChrome S4 Nitro add-in PVR card.
